I was told this was a tourist trap so I never went. My daughter will be down in a week or two and we are definitely going. This looks like fun. The drive up Mt. Lemon is beautiful! Definitely put that on your list for your next visit.
Two days a week now (Tues & Wed?) they have limited program - narrated tours only, but no train rides and bells and whistles like that. Those days are half price, and even better - the crowds are non-existent. Definitely the way to go, if you'd just as soon skip the carneval aspect of it all!
Danish-American camper, gypsy, hiker, genealogist, photographer, translator, child counselor, home school teacher, reader, writer, low carber, short order cook, daughter, sister, mother of the Spud and mother - or is that grandmother? - of Bear our coydog, forever love and best friend of Wally, and last but not least, grateful child of God.
...WANDERING ON A TRAIL OF BEAUTY, LIVING AGAIN, MAY I WALK*...
Is this all there is???... Well, NO!
This photoblog is a pictorial index of our roamings and wanderings. Although we live in a 35-foot fifth wheel camper full time, most of our traveling is done in our little Lance truck camper. -- If an entry grabs your attention, just CLICK ON THE PICTURE CAPTION, AND YOU WILL BE TAKEN TO OUR DAILY JOURNAL, which will generally have chit-chat in Danish and English - for those of you who are into WORDS and all - and many, many, MANY - ad nauseum many - more pictures.
