What camera do you have? Mine was a gift from my father along with two lenses. To much camera for me and it will be on ebay soon. I am shopping around for a new one if my old sells.
CONVOY!!!!!
Mom and argued on that one because she wanted it on and I didn't. My reason for this is I am a hillbilly, and the Convoy would only confirmed that. Right now mom has it on as loud as possible and singing along. She is an amazing woman because if I had a tooth ache I would be moaning instead of singing Convoy. Did your daughter pick out any music? Which ones?
Screen Door - one of my favorite songs. The River - you definitely have some good ones on here.
The reason for my putting on "Otto Titsling" is because of my g grandfather. Southern gentleman, banker - fine upstanding member of the community. His wife needed some "personal items" from the store. She told her husband to give the list to Mrs. Jones and she would pick everything out. Not Great Grandpa Herndon, he had to get it himself. He went to Mrs. Jones and said "Yes, I need a brasseye." One of many of mom's favorite childhood memories. It is funny how music helps you remember - good, bad, or indifferent.
Hi Pepper - And Jane! You guys crack me up. =0) I hope that tooth ache gets better SOON! I have a Fuji FinePix S602Zoom, which I believe might now be considered an "old" model, and while it started out at about $800 it should be dirt cheap now, if it's still available. I really like Fuji because of the way colors come out. It's very much a point and shoot camera, although it does do some tricks (not to say it does all of those tricks when I use it - I need to study more.) It does very decent video too. The Spud is working on her own playlist as we speak, being that she has very little tolerance for "old people's music" - meaning anything before about 1995! I love the story about your great-grandfather - And how fantastic it is that it's been handed down too! You guys have fun in Arizona - and come to California sometime! As soon as the tourists leave maybe, it's dreadfully crowded around these parts in the summer....
Danish-American camper, gypsy, hiker, genealogist, photographer, translator, child counselor, home school teacher, reader, writer, low carber, short order cook, daughter, sister, mother of the Spud and mother - or is that grandmother? - of Bear our coydog, forever love and best friend of Wally, and last but not least, grateful child of God.
...WANDERING ON A TRAIL OF BEAUTY, LIVING AGAIN, MAY I WALK*...
Is this all there is???... Well, NO!
This photoblog is a pictorial index of our roamings and wanderings. Although we live in a 35-foot fifth wheel camper full time, most of our traveling is done in our little Lance truck camper. -- If an entry grabs your attention, just CLICK ON THE PICTURE CAPTION, AND YOU WILL BE TAKEN TO OUR DAILY JOURNAL, which will generally have chit-chat in Danish and English - for those of you who are into WORDS and all - and many, many, MANY - ad nauseum many - more pictures.
